Response Summary
Only 3 of 150 enabled users completed the Workspace Impact Check-In survey. The survey was completed by René Ransmann, Grzegorz Zając, and Claus-Martin Mewes, with responses recorded in April 2026. This sample is too small to draw statistically significant conclusions, but the directional signals are positive. A structured push to increase participation is the highest-priority action from this report.
Question-by-Question Results
Hours saved per week through ChatGPT usage
All three respondents report saving time through ChatGPT use. One respondent saves 2–5 hours per week, which at an average loaded cost of €80/hr represents over €8,000 in annual productivity gain per person.
Ability to take on new tasks I could not do before
Neither agree nor disagree
1
Two of three respondents agree that ChatGPT has expanded their capability. No respondents disagreed. This is a strong signal of capability uplift beyond pure efficiency gains.
Productivity impact
All three respondents report moderate productivity increases. No respondents selected "significantly increased" or "decreased." This suggests the tool is delivering consistent but not transformational gains at this stage.
Stakeholder service impact
Neither agree nor disagree
1
Two respondents perceive improved service to stakeholders. One is neutral. This is encouraging — it suggests ChatGPT is not just an internal productivity tool but is influencing work quality that others experience.
Work quality impact
All three respondents agree that work quality has improved. This is the strongest positive signal in the survey data and a compelling message for the EMT.
Work satisfaction impact
Neither agree nor disagree
1
Two respondents report improved work satisfaction. This aligns with research showing that AI tools perceived as genuinely useful — not just mandated — tend to improve job satisfaction alongside productivity.
Positive Themes
Time savings are real. All respondents report saving at least some time. One reports 2–5 hours per week, which is a substantial productivity gain for a knowledge worker.
Work quality is the strongest positive signal. A unanimous "agree" on work quality improvement is the clearest impact finding in the dataset. This is worth highlighting to the EMT as a concrete benefit.
Capability expansion reported. Two of three users can now take on tasks they previously could not. This suggests the tool is creating new value, not just automating existing tasks.
Recommendations
Survey participation must increase. With only 3 respondents, this data cannot represent the organisation. A target of 40+ responses (roughly 25% of enabled users) is needed for meaningful analysis. Recommend a survey campaign with manager sponsorship before the next reporting cycle.
Use existing findings for internal communication. The positive signals — work quality, time savings, capability uplift — are compelling. Consider a brief internal comms piece summarising these findings to reinforce adoption and normalise ChatGPT use across divisions.
Add open-text responses to the survey. The current survey captures structured answers only. Adding 1–2 optional open-text questions would allow users to surface use cases, pain points, and feature requests not captured by predefined answer options.
