Observations
All 36 GPTs have usage. Unlike most months in the trend data, May 2026 shows no dormant GPTs — every active GPT received at least one message. This is a healthy signal indicating that inactive or purely draft GPTs have either been retired or converted to live use.
8 GPTs show multi-user adoption signals. These 8 GPTs were used by two or more unique workspace users in May. They represent the most likely candidates for formal workspace promotion, documentation, and governance review. The remaining 28 GPTs are likely personal tools or low-reach specialised utilities.
One GPT dominates volume. Omada Identity Documentation Expert accounts for 170 of 716 messages (23.7%) and reached 6 unique users. This is the clearest candidate for workspace-wide promotion and official governance status. It has strong adoption, high volume, and cross-user reach.
Governance Recommendations
Promote the top 3 adopted GPTs to official workspace resources. Omada Identity Documentation Expert (6 users, 170 msgs), Career Framework Advisor (3 users), and Omada Benchmarking Tool (4 users) have clear cross-team value. These should be documented, reviewed for sensitive data, given official owners, and featured in internal AI tooling communications.
Introduce a GPT lifecycle process. Define: owner, purpose description, target users, sensitivity classification, last-reviewed date, and retirement criteria. Even a simple register in a shared spreadsheet significantly improves governance posture and prevents GPT sprawl.
Review the ENG suite for consolidation. dodr@omada.net has created 6 GPTs covering engineering tasks (ENG, ENG Task, ENG Teams, ENG Meeting, ENG Email, Scrum Master). These could potentially be consolidated into a single Engineering Assistant GPT with multiple capabilities, reducing maintenance overhead and improving discoverability.
Monitor the 5 low-usage GPTs (1 message). Legal Advisor, Partner Support Archive, ENG Email, Release Notes Editor, and Kimai & SevDesk — these GPTs are live but nearly unused. Owners should confirm whether they intend to develop them further or retire them next month.
