Snapshot Comparison — 180-Day Windows
Two comparable 180-day exports are now available. The window has shifted by 28 days (ending 10 May vs. 7 June 2026). All metrics below are directly comparable.

¹ The power-user count decline from 15 to 13 reflects the rolling window shift — some users' cumulative 180-day totals fell below 500 as the window moved forward. P90 growth (+80) confirms the upper distribution is actually strengthening.

Snapshot Trend Chart
3 × 60-Day Sub-Period Analysis (Current 180-Day Window)
The 180-day export contains aggregate prompt totals only — it does not include row-level monthly data. Sub-period analysis is based on last-activity dates used as cumulative adoption signals, split into three 60-day bands. This shows when users last became active, not prompt volume within each sub-period.
PeriodDate RangeUsers with Last Activity in PeriodInterpretation
P1 (Days 121–180)9 Dec 2025 – 6 Feb 20262Early window activity only — users who last used Copilot in early December/January and have not been active since
P2 (Days 61–120)7 Feb 2026 – 7 Apr 20265Mid-window last activity — users who peaked in February–April and have since become less active
P3 (Days 1–60)8 Apr 2026 – 7 Jun 202685Currently active cohort — 91.4% of licensed users have been active within the last 60 days
91.4% of users active in the most recent 60 days. Only 7 users (2 + 5) have last activity falling outside the current 60-day window, indicating the vast majority of the user base is consistently engaged. The 7 users with older last-activity dates may be lapsed — cross-reference with the low-activity tail in the Segments report.
Cumulative App Adoption by Sub-Period
This chart shows how many users had at least one recorded activity in each app by the end of each sub-period. The sharp rise in P3 for Chat (work) is expected — Copilot Chat was the primary entry point and most users' last recorded activity is recent. Apps like Word and Excel show earlier adoption curves (many users adopted in P1 and P2), reflecting their use as embedded tools.
Trend Interpretation
Adoption: effectively complete. 92 of 93 users are active — the sole non-user is an x_ account. The adoption growth story is now about depth, not breadth.
Usage intensity: improving. Median (+5), P90 (+80), and weekly rate (+18) all grew in the 28-day window shift. The upper distribution is strengthening faster than the median.
App breadth: expanding. Chat (work) reached 100%, Excel and Loop both showed meaningful growth. The broad-app usage pattern is positive — Omada is not a single-surface deployment.
Agent adoption: stagnant. Only +1 user added to Agent adoption across the full 28-day window. This is the single largest risk in the trend picture — the gap between Agent adoption and all other surfaces is widening relatively.
Power-user count: window artefact. The -2 drop does not reflect a real decline. Several near-threshold users are on track to qualify next period. Monitor the four near-threshold users (Bastin, Fenger, Wedel, Zormpas) as a leading indicator.
Next refresh recommended. A third 180-day snapshot next month, combined with a 30-day supplemental export, would establish a reliable rolling trend for prompt volume by period.
Trend Limitations
Prompt-volume trend between the two snapshots is not fully reliable — each snapshot covers a different 180-day window, with 152 days of overlap. The +477 prompt increase reflects the 28-day window shift, not a direct month-over-month measurement.
Sub-period prompt volumes cannot be calculated from a single 180-day aggregate export. To enable monthly prompt trending, export a 30-day report from M365 Admin Center each month and upload alongside the 180-day file.
App adoption by sub-period uses last-activity date as a signal only. A user with a last-activity date in P1 contributed to cumulative P1 adoption — but may have also been active in P2 and P3. The export does not include per-app activity history.
